Dr. Ahmed Taha Drwish

Dr. Ahmed Taha is Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution Group. He received his PhD from the University of Bristol (UOB), UK, in 2025 and brings more than 11 years of academic and professional experience in international commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

Dr. Ahmed served as a Graduate Teacher at the University of Bristol Law School, teaching International Commercial Arbitration to undergraduate and postgraduate (LLM) students. He currently lectures in Economics, Money and Banking, and Public Finance at both the Egyptian Chinese University and Beni-Suef University in Egypt, a role that complements his legal practice by providing an enriched economic perspective on complex commercial and construction disputes.

Professionally, Dr. Ahmed has represented multinational clients before leading arbitral institutions, including the ICC, CRCICA, DIFC-LCIA, as well as in ad hoc proceedings.

He is also committed to academic development and capacity-building. He has coached and supervised student teams in national, regional, and international moot competitions, including coaching the University of Bristol team in the 2024 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.
