Aya Salah Gaafar

Aya is a highly experienced Corporate and Tax Attorney with extensive expertise in representing clients before the Egyptian Tax Authority and its affiliated offices, defending clients’ interests before Tax Appeal Committees, and preparing and filing comprehensive tax reports.

She has substantial experience dealing with the General Authority for Investment (GAFI), commercial registry procedures at the Chamber of Commerce, and regulatory matters with the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC), the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA). Her expertise also includes trademark registration, handling notarization procedures, obtaining all types of licenses from governmental entities, and supporting companies with the renewal of operation licenses and related approvals.

Ms. Aya provides end-to-end support in submitting documentation to municipalities and governmental bodies, managing follow-up communications, and addressing legal notices related to licensing procedures. She effectively coordinates inspections, payment of official fees, and compliance with all governmental requirements for operational facilities.

Aya also drafts and negotiates a wide range of contracts—such as Service Level Agreements (SLA), distribution agreements, joint venture agreements, and memoranda of understanding—and conducts detailed legal research and legal opinions under Egyptian and Saudi law.
